We recently created some artwork for a stencil to be used by Salford Youth Discussion (syd) in a Reverse Graffiti Campaign. It is certainly an appealing concept and a fun idea targeting the youth of today! We hope to create many more stencils in the near future. Make sure to keep an eye out for these messages appearing around Salford in the coming days.
The Salford Youth Discussion initiative has been set up by City West Housing Trust.
I had a very warm welcome at C21 and everyone was so nice and friendly to me, which really made my two weeks with the team.
I felt like being part of it from the first day and learnt a lot about how everything and everyone works together.
It made me feel excited pursuing this kind of job in the future and I aspire to work in a job or company that is as opened and friendly as C21.

Basically I’m the first student who has come from Europe to learn more about the colourful world of advertising at C21!
Apparently sitting on your backside all day is very very bad for you, so to counteract this you need to exercise. However, not everyone has the time to go for a mad power walk around Altrincham at lunchtime. We needed something we can do in a matter of seconds rather than hours. We needed HIT.
Most of the time I sit behind my shiny Mac designing shiny widgets and websites but sometimes I just want to get my hands dirty.
I’d been wanting to do some screen printing for a while so when I heard that local printmakers’ studio Hot Bed Press were running a poster printing course I had to do it.
The new word on the social media street is ‘TWITCH’
So, what’s a Twitch? A Twitch is portmanteau word, a blend of twitter and Pitch. It’s a pitch for new business posted on twitter by companies or organisations, challenging all comers to answer their creative briefs.
We completed our first Twitch recently and the results have been extremely rewarding for both the Twitcher (The Client) and the Twitchee (The Agency)

At C21 HQ, not only are we always busy working hard for our Clients, we also keep busy continually developing ourselves.
As members of the IPA, we commit to regular Continuous Professional Development, and our latest training saw all staff complete an IPA qualification to update and upskill us all on the legal and self-regulatory measures that are relevant to our business.
The training was devised by the IPA, and covered thirteen topics. Through Group Sessions, we studied these over two months – before taking a big gulp and completing our exams. I am please to report that all staff passed the exam (first attempts!), most with results of 80% plus!
Our new certificates are now pride of place within the offices – and more importantly the learnings are fresh in our brains!
