Monday 21st January is supposed to the hardest day to get out of bed. Apparently the dark mornings, the bad weather and a Christmas debt hangover is enough to bring the average person down.
It’s Muhammad Ali’s birthday today and what better way to celebrate than by watching Funny Cats Boxing.
Today, ‘The King’ would have been 78. Sadly, heaven’s gain is music’s loss as the great man fled this mortal coil aged only 42. What would have happened if he was not so addicted to burgers? Would he still be touring today? That would be a gig to queue overnight for. No one since has laid claim to his crown, not even Shaking Stevens (The Welsh Elvis).
Well, all that Christmas business is over and done with, and we are back to reality. This year, apart from getting back in to shape, I am looking forward to exploring more great digital stuff. Happy 2013 everyone.
